This server allows you to download YouTube video transcripts and metadata using yt-dlp
and integrate it with Claude.ai via the Model Context Protocol.
- Download YouTube video transcripts: Fetches subtitles from YouTube videos
- Download YouTube video metadata
- Specify YouTube video URL (required parameter)
- Specify language: Supports multiple languages using ISO 639-1 codes (defaults to 'ja')
- Error handling: Throws an error if subtitles in the specified language don't exist

Parameters
url
: YouTube video URL (required)language
: Subtitle language code (optional, default: 'ja')- Uses ISO 639-1 language codes

- Note: An error will occur if subtitles in the specified language do not exist
